Motorcycle Frames
We can remove your existing paint or powder coating from your motor bike frame by fine gritblasting / shot blasting or where necessary also with the use of chemical stripping. Once the frame is back to bare metal we can carryout weld repairs if necessary before finishing the frame in either wet spray, stove enamelling or polyester powder coating. A wide range of colours are stocked in various levels of gloss from matt to very high gloss piano key black. Corrosion resistance can be enhanced with the use of etch primers, zinc rich powder primers or zinc thermally sprayed metal coatings beneath the top coat finish.
Swing Arms
Motorcycle swing arms can be fully stripped and re coated as per the frame coating systems detailed above. We are able to accomodate swing arms that still have bearings / bushes inserted which will be fully masked throughout the blasting process. If the bearings or bushes cannot withstand 180 - 200'c then the swing arm will be wet sprayed in 2k Acrylic as powder coating cure temperatures will damage them.
